The Department of Civil Engineering, LU offer one undergraduate degree

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Degree Requirements

All undergraduate degrees (except B. Sc in Architecture) in LU are of 4 (four) years duration. Duration of B. Sc in Architecture program is 5 (five) years. Total credits required for an academic program would be determined by the curricula of that concerned program. If an undergraduate student can complete the requisite number of courses/ credits offered by the concerned department in each semester, s/ he will be able to obtain his/ her degree within 4/ 5 years as specified for the program. The university reserves the right to change programs and curricula without notice whenever circumstances warrant such changes. Meeting the following requirements is also the responsibility of the students

  • Completion of all course requirements for the degree.
  • At least a 2.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average in all courses.
  • No outstanding financial obligation to LU.
  • All university properties to be returned.

Degree is not conferred necessarily on fulfillment of the above conditions. The University reserves the right to refuse the award of a degree on disciplinary and other grounds. Completion of all course requirements for the degree.
